Over the summer of 2020, I decided the best way to take advantage of the global quarantine would be to form my own business. Being a one-person operation, I've had to apply my skills as a designandlso learn how to create and manage a small business. Starting my own business has taught me much about myself and what I want as a designer. I want to help people better understand and experience the world around them while constantly learning new skills.

Communications and Graphic Designer
Responsible for all content and branded messaging across all digital and physical platforms for a multi-brand holdings company involved in fashion, medical, and F&B. The skills required for this position were wildly diverse and centered around creating and communicating consistent branded messaging. The roles included branding, content scheduling, graphic design, motion design, video editing, technical drawing, email marketing, social media planning and management, and Google and Meta PPC ad performance monitoring, among other responsibilities.

Art Instructor
Instructor for Haven Art studio, leading classes for children aged K-12. Each week was a different era of art history and the lessons and activities would be based around the theme of the week. I would start each class with a history of the background of the artist, then lead into a demonstration, and give the students plenty of time to work and have fun with the process of creating art.

My role included creating graphics to abstract complex systems, creating digestible deliverables for clients, creation of animations and video interviews, creation of branded templates for Microsoft Office products, and the creation of database schemas for our developing products.
